Snakes and Cosleeping

One of the many benefits of cosleeping is that parents are able to better protect their children from all sorts of potential danger, however rare, such as kidnapping, fire and even snakes. A woman in Long Island recently went in to check her crying baby, only to find a non-venomous constrictor wrapped around her baby’s leg. They do not know whether the snake was contained in the crib mattress or somehow got in from outside. In either event, that isn’t something you want to find the next morning.   1. I never thought of it that way, co-sleeping ~ Keep your baby safe from snakes! LOL!! (I am a LONG time co-sleeper!)

    I am a long time cosleeper too and I never thought I had to worry about snakes either! I do sleep better knowing I can protect my daughter from fire and kidnapping though. :)
